ABOUT
My name is Sam Moody and my life’s goal has been to join the Young Presidents’ Organization ever since I learned about it in high school. I’m studying business in college now and have already achieved a fair share of success and accolades. More than the professional success and financial stability that coincides with membership in the YPO, I was initially attracted by the focus on learning and lifelong education that the YPO is centered on. Also, I think that the exchange of ideas between the world’s leaders would be a fascinating occurrence to participate in. The forums and symposiums that the organization puts on seem to me to be the equivalent of a modern day acropolis and the fast-paced, free flowing interchange of ideas and perspectives between co-equal captains of industry excites me. Finally, I hope to champion the causes of the YPO here in order to increase awareness of leadership, growth, community and education to a larger sphere than YPO currently speaks to. Even if I never make it in (it is, after all, one of the most exclusive organizations on the planet) to the Young Presidents’ Organization, I will still value the gathering of knowledge, the building of community and the free and informed exchange of ideas.
